Alessio Carli, nato nel 1969 a Pisa, giornalista professionista, appassionato di cinema. Una passione, quasi una mania, che nel dicembre del 2011 è sfociata nel libro Cinedipendente (volume 1), seguito da Cinedipendente volume 2 nel dicembre 2012, dedicati a tutte le apparizioni e le citazioni della Torre di Pisa nel cinema. Un'opera che mi ha permesso di comprendere come la Torre Pendente non sia soltanto un monumento ma una vera e propria icona pop, evocata, oltre che sul grande schermo, anche nel teatro, nei media, nella pubblicità e nell'industria. Sulla scia del libro è così nato questo blog, un working progress per intercettare le numerose apparizioni della Torre di Pisa. E anche per aggiornare il principale filone della mia ricerca: i film dove spunta il campanile di Piazza dei Miracoli, ai quai aggiungere le pellicole nelle quali compaiono altri luoghi di Pisa.

Alessio Carli is a professional journalist with a great passion for cinematography. In December 2011 he transformed his passion into a book, which he called Cinedipendente (volume 1), followed by Cinedipendente volume 2, dedicated to all the appearances or mentioning of the Leaning Tower of Pisa in the world of cinema. The writing of this book made him realize that the Leaning Tower of Pisa has become much more than just a monument: it has now to all effects acquired the status of a true and real pop icon which is adopted in the theatre, media, advertising, and industry sector. So alongside with the book he chose to blog this site, which he considers to have two main functions: an interactive work in progress platform for the discovery of the other numerous appearances of Leaning Tower of Pisa in parts of films or any type of media; and secondly a method for updating the main thread of his research: movies in which the Leaning Bell Tower of Pisa and Miracle Square are filmed; in addition to also researching movies where other areas of Pisa are shown.

La Torre di Pisa e il caffè di Starbucks



Alcuni anni fa Starbucks fece sia una tazza all'americana per caffé tostato che un set di due tazzine tipiche per l'espresso con la Torre di Pisa disegnata e legata alla  nota catena di caffetterie statunitense      presente in tutto il mondo. Seppure non siano un vero e proprio oggetto di modernariato, questi oggetti sono aumentati di valore e il loro prezzo varia a seconda della disponibilità e delle richieste, da un minimo di 16 euro a circa 35 euro.
