La Torre di Pisa compare soltanto in copertina, disegnata attraverso il titolo del film (con i colori della bandiera italiana, che sventola in cima) e i crediti, a parte la torre campanaria, riprodotta quasi fedelmente. In questo film di Jason Todd Ipson ambientato a Boston (Stati Uniti), Jake Biansky (interpretato da Jay Jablonsky) e Marina Costa (Cerina Vincent) si fingono italiani per corteggiarsi l'un l'altra, in una zona della città, il North End, con un'alta percentuale di persone di origini italiane. Pochi anni prima, sempre negli Usa, la Torre Pendente appare soltanto nella copertina. Si tratta di Duece Bigalow: European Gigolò (Duece Bigalow - Puttano in Saldo), descritto nel libro Cinedipendente - I film con la Torre di Pisa .

Drawn across the film’s title (with the
colour bands of the Italian flag set at the top) and credits, with near close
reproduction of the tower at the bell’s height, the Leaning Tower of Pisa actually
features only in the film’s poster. In the actual film, set in Boston (United
States) and directed by Jason Todd Ipson, Duece Jake Biansky (played by Jay
Jablonsky) and Marina Costa (played by Cerina Vincent) are two lovers which pretend
to be Italian while dating each other in an area of the city, the North End, where
the population is considered to be mainly of Italian origins. Curiously another
film produced in the United States a few years earlier also features the
Leaning Tower of Pisa just in the film poster: Duece Bigalow: European Gigolò,
which can be found described in the book Cinedipendente – the films with the
Leaning Tower of Pisa.
